Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Tram, has denied claims that he owes ₦400 million in damages following his viral 2024 car crash, insisting that reports circulating online do not accurately reflect what happened.

The reality TV star made the clarification in a viral interview clip on Monday, just a day after he was introduced as one of the housemates in the ongoing BBNaija Season 11.

His comments came after an old video of the September 2024 crash involving a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee resurfaced on social media, sparking fresh conversations about the incident.

Responding to questions about claims that he owes ₦400 million, Tram dismissed the reports.

“First off, no, I do not owe ₦400 million. Obviously, I would probably not be this chill if I was owing ₦400 million,” he said.

While acknowledging that the accident occurred, Tram stressed that it was an unfortunate incident rather than something intentional.

“In 2024, I was involved in a car accident—a viral car accident. Obviously, it happened. It wasn’t planned. Life happens. But thank God no one died.”

He also expressed disappointment that many people focused more on the damaged vehicles than the fact that everyone involved survived.

“Everyone is concerned about the car and whatever happened. No one died in that accident.”

Tram further contradicted an earlier claim he made shortly after the crash, revealing that the vehicles involved were not rented.

According to him, the Corvette belonged to a friend who was also involved in the accident.

“None of the cars were rented. The car actually belongs to a friend of mine, and he was also involved in the accident. This is a part that social media doesn’t even understand.”

He added that there are aspects of the incident he is unable to discuss publicly.

Reflecting on the experience, Tram described the accident as a turning point in his life.

“My experience that day, crazy. I had a conversation with God in that moment.”

The crash occurred on September 14, 2024, after the Corvette reportedly lost control during a high-speed race, collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee and slammed into a concrete pole.

Following the accident, he appealed for public financial support, stating that the crash resulted in damages exceeding ₦400 million, including hospital bills, property damage and vehicle losses. At the time, he also claimed the vehicles involved were rented.

His latest remarks have reignited debate online, with many social media users questioning the inconsistency between his previous statements and his current account.

Tram is among the contestants competing for the ₦160 million grand prize in Big Brother Naija Season 11.
