Mohbad Lifetime Accounts On ‘Post No Debit’ Order – Singer’s Management Shares Update On Autopsy Result, Will Scandal
Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, stated in a recent interview that his son had written a will before to his passing.
Claims that the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, left a will have been refuted by the singer’s management.
VerseNews had earlier reported that Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, stated in a recent interview that his son had written a will before to his passing.
Upon arriving at his son’s home, Mohbad’s father was astonished to discover that his son’s body had already undergone local embalming.
Adding to the mystery of the situation was the surprising presence of a lawyer instead of a medical doctor.
In the course of the interview, the sorrowful father revealed an even more startling revelation – the presence of a purported will belonging to the deceased 26-year-old artist.
Expressing disbelief, Mohbad’s father found it astonishing that his son had a will, particularly since he, at an older age of 56, did not have one himself.
However, the late singer’s management responded, calling the assertion “false and misleading,” in a statement posted on Monday via the singer’s Instagram page. The statement partly read:
“No members of Mohbad’s management or his Lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed document (as has recently been FALSELY reported) to any member of the family or the public.
” We would like to state with certainty that if any such document did exist, it would have been duly registered with the Probate Registry. We therefore plead with everyone to refrain from sharing false and misleading statements like this.”
The management noted that
“All accounts owned and controlled by Imole during his lifetime were immediately put on a Post No Debit order on the 12th of September, 2023. This order remains valid till date.” It added that the accounts “will be properly handed over to the family upon resolution of the internal dispute”.
