Pastor Enoch Adeboye will lead a major prayer crusade in Ibadan, alongside other spiritual leaders, to address kidnapping and banditry.

The event aims to unite the community in seeking divine intervention for Nigeria’s security challenges.

The initiative, organized by the RCCG’s Oyo Provinces, will feature influential spiritual leaders, including Bishop Francis Wale Oke and Bishop Taiwo Adelakun.

“Together, they aim to rally the community in prayer and seek divine solutions to the nation’s pressing challenges.”

At a press briefing, VerseNews reports that Pastor Jide Ojurongbe, Chairman of the Planning Committee, outlined the extensive measures to ensure a safe and impactful gathering.

“Emphasizing crowd management and security, he noted that partnerships with local law enforcement and medical teams are in place to address any potential concerns.”

Pastor Ojurongbe, represented by Pastor Ezekiel Afolayan, highlighted the crusade’s unique significance, as it marks the first time Pastor Adeboye will minister at the stadium.

“According to him, the inter-denominational event is expected to attract participants from various backgrounds, fostering unity in the face of adversity.”

“As Nigeria continues to battle issues like kidnapping and banditry, this prayer crusade aims to galvanize spiritual support and invoke divine intervention.”

“With the involvement of esteemed leaders from across the country, the event promises to be a powerful call to action for the community and a beacon of hope for those affected by these challenges,” he stated.

Residents of Ibadan have expressed optimism about the gathering, with many seeing it as a timely intervention amid growing insecurity in parts of the country. “At a time like this, when fear grips many people, we believe prayer can make a difference,” said a local worshipper.

The event is set to conclude with a special session of prophetic declarations and intercessory prayers for the nation, reinforcing the belief in divine intervention in the country’s ongoing security challenges.
