VeryDarkMan vows to crossdress if Bobrisky isn’t arrested, sparking controversy online amidst ongoing debates over crossdressing legality in Nigeria.
Controversial social media figure VeryDarkMan has stirred up a storm with his latest declaration, stating that he will transition into crossdressing unless popular transvestite Bobrisky faces arrest, VerseNews reports.
In a significant turn of events, VeryDarkMan, known for his outspoken views, reiterated his call for Bobrisky’s arrest, alleging the latter’s protection by influential politicians with whom he purportedly shares intimate relations.
The controversy surrounding the arrest of crossdressers in Nigeria gained traction recently when ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Police Public Officer, clarified that crossdressing itself isn’t a crime under Nigerian law. Adejobi’s statement was met with mixed reactions, particularly from those advocating for Bobrisky’s apprehension.
In response, VeryDarkMan took to Instagram to voice his frustration, vowing to embrace crossdressing if Bobrisky remains free from legal repercussions. He attributed his recent detention to his activism against Bobrisky and his allegations of protection from high-ranking officials allegedly involved in homosexual relationships.
Asserting his determination, VeryDarkMan stated, “Since the police say crossdressing is legal, I will soon start crossdressing. I will give them one week after I drop my petition against Bobrisky. If Bobrisky is not arrested, I will become a crossdresser and use the female restroom.”
As tensions escalate and debates surrounding LGBTQ+ rights continue, VeryDarkMan’s bold stance has sparked renewed discussions on social media platforms.
