EPL: Ordegard Saves Arsenal With A Penalty For Second Win

Arsenal snatched home the needed three points from Crystal Palace after Martin Ordegard converted a penalty to give the Gunners victory on Monday night at Selhurst Park.

Monday’s slim victory for Mikel Arteta and his boys makes it two wins in two English Premier League (EPL) matches.

The goal in the 53rd minute after both teams played a goalless draw at first half.

Palace’s Sam Johnstone brought down Eddie Nketiah in the box and Ordegard wasted no time with his left footed shot to the bottom left corner.

Despite Arsenal’s victory they were punished by the referee who sent Takehiro Tommyasu in the 62st minute.

Arsenal have jumped to third on the log with six points after two consecutive victories while Palace are 11th with three pints.
