The meeting between the Federal Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to avert an imminent strike action has ended without a concrete solution.
VerseNews reports that the Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong; and Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, met with the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, and other leaders in Abuja on Monday in an effort to stop organised labour from embarking on another industrial action.
The meeting is expected to continue at a later date.
However, the minister is also expected to hold a meeting with the leadership of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) today.
