A 53-year old bricklayer, Kayode Oluwaseunfunmi was arrested in Oyo after impregnating his 14-yr old JSS3 daughter.

After initially reporting him., Now the daughter is begging for his release asking authorities not to hurt him. Because he made a “mistake”.

According to her, since her mom died, her dad has been the protector and provider for herself and her siblings, all three of them are girls, unfortunately.

Because of the pregnancy she was unable to write her JSS3 exams. And she understands it’s been hard on him, it will take her a while to forgive him but, she just wants things to go back to the way it is, as the family has already lost enough.

Unfortunately, she and her siblings have been moved to an orphanage. While the father is still in custody as the SCID, Oyo state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Injustice, have sworn that justice must be served.

They’re unlikely to drop the case, because she hasn’t reached the age of consent. This reportedly happened at Oluyole, Oyo State. The man is a popular bricklayer in the area.
