BREAKING: Air Peace Flight Overruns Runway in Port Harcourt [Video]
An Air Peace flight (P47190) from Lagos veered off the runway this morning after it landed at Port Harcourt International Airport.
Air Peace flight P47190 on Sunday reportedly overran the runway while landing at Port Harcourt International Airport, Nigeria.
A statement by Mr. Efe Osifo-Whiskey, the Spokesman for the airline, confirmed that the aircraft had departed from Murtala Muhammed Airport (MMA), Lagos to Port Harcourt.
According to the statement, the aircraft “veered slightly” off the runway without any damage, stressing that “all passengers disembarked safely and calmly without injuries.”
The airline reassured the flying public of “our unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all our operations.”
