- Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has drawn attention after he was seen serving as an usher at Shiloh 2025, the annual convocation of the Living Faith Church Worldwide in Ogun State.

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has been spotted serving as an usher at Shiloh 2025, the annual convocation of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, held at the Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
In a viral video circulating online, the governor, dressed in a suit and red tie, was seen standing and facing the congregation while the programme was ongoing.
Shiloh 2025 commenced on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, and has attracted several prominent Christian leaders, including Pastor Paul Enenche, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, and other notable clerics.
Sons of the church’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo — Pastors David Oyedepo Jr. and Isaac Oyedepo — were also in attendance at the annual event, alongside their families.

This is not the first time Governor Oborevwori has been seen performing church duties. In November 2025, he was similarly spotted handling offerings, collecting contributions from worshippers and placing them into the offering vault.

Sheriff Oborevwori became governor of Delta State in 2023, having previously served as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, where he represented the Okpe Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from 2017 to 2023.
In April 2025, the governor defected from the PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general election, in which he is expected to seek re-election.
