Rute Cardoso, wife of late Portuguese footballer Diogo Jota, has penned a heartfelt message marking what would have been their one-month wedding anniversary.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Cardoso wrote “1 month of our ‘until death do us part’. Forever, your white girl”, alongside photos from their wedding day.

The tribute comes weeks after Jota and his younger brother tragically died in a car crash in Spain, just 11 days after his wedding.
