‘I Don’t Want Regina Back in My Life’ — Ned Nwoko Alleges Drug Influence, Blames Phyna

- Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has dismissed claims of reconciling with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, saying he wants her in rehabilitation—not back in his home—while alleging drug use and negative influence from her friends.
Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has opened up about his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, stating he has no intention of reconciling with her and insisting that she must return to rehabilitation for her well-being.
The drama between the pair escalated after reports emerged that Ned had been messaging Regina on WhatsApp, asking her to return home—a move she allegedly rejected and threatened to counter by exposing alleged murder and fraud cases if he didn’t stop contacting her.
In a statement shared amid the unfolding controversy, Nwoko claimed that Regina’s recent behaviour was influenced by friends, including BBNaija star Phyna, whom he accused of contributing to her relapse into drug use and instability.
“I am not chatting with Regina, and I don’t want her back in my life. I just want her to go for therapy. She is under the influence of dr*gs and whatever she says are lies. She was doing fine until her birthday, when some of her friends, including Phyna, arrived,” he said.

The senator also recounted a disturbing incident in which Regina allegedly recorded a video of him while he was in the bathroom and posted it online—an action he described as evidence of “irrational behaviour.”
Nwoko further alleged that Regina’s birthday celebration marked the turning point, claiming she booked an entire floor at Destination Hotel, Wuse 2, where she allegedly spent four days involved in drugs, fights, and altercations with police and other guests.
Emphasising that his priority is the safety of Regina and their children, he urged those around her to ensure she receives professional care:

Ned’s public statement sparked a storm of reactions online, with many questioning his motives and his approach to the situation.
One user, Fife, wrote:
“You just want her for therapy? She be your daughter? Her mama still dey alive… her papa still dey alive… let her parents look after her.”

Ruth added:
“Nah now Regina will know the full meaning of a spirit husband.”

Nwoko’s revelations have added a new layer to the increasingly messy public dispute, which continues to dominate social media conversations—especially with the involvement of Phyna.
