Oladips’ Management Drops Album ‘Superhero Adugbo’
Oladips rose to stardom after winning D’banj’s ‘King Is Here’ competition…
The much-anticipated album of late Nigerian rapper, Oladips titled ‘Superhero Adugbo’ has been released by his management.
VerseNews had earlier reported that the rapper whose real name is Oladipupo Oladimeji passed away on Tuesday night, at the age of 28.
The cause of his death is still unclear but his management said the rapper “battled within himself for over two years” before his death.
But recently, there have been rumoures and confirmations from the singer’s close friends that he is still alive.
On Thursday, the management of the late rapper announced the release of the 17-track project via his Instagram page.
In the album, Oladips enlisted the vocal dexterity of Trod, another rapper and younger brother of late Dagrin.
The songs in the body of work include ‘Superhero Adugbo’, ‘Ori’, ‘Aniyikaye’, ‘Wabillah’, ‘Jay Z Ojota’, ‘Skusku’ and ‘Allah Walahi’.
Other tracks are ‘Young Tinubu’, ‘Can’t Sleep At Night’, ‘Angeli’, ‘Mura’, ‘Odia’, ‘Young Nigga Dream’, ‘Die Young’, ‘Motivation’, ‘Agba Awo Trenches’ and ‘Legend’.

Oladips rose to stardom after winning D’banj’s ‘King Is Here’ competition.
He went on to secure a record deal with Edge Records label owned by Reminisce, another rapper, in 2015, but he left in 2018 after a disagreement over music promotion.
In 2021, he teamed up with Zlatan Ibile, the indigenous rapper, for the release of a four-track EP ‘Mainland To Island’.
The rapper also put out a plethora of hit songs that earned him a name in the country’s music industry.
