Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has warned that the global consequences of the ongoing war will affect everyone, regardless of race, religion, or economic status.
Speaking on Wednesday, Araghchi stressed that the impact of the conflict would not be limited to any particular region, describing it as a crisis with far-reaching global implications.
“A wave of global consequences has only commenced and will affect all – irrespective of wealth, religion, or race,” he wrote in a post on X.
The minister made the remarks while calling for stronger resistance from Western officials against the war, noting what he described as a growing number of dissenting voices within the international community.

His post also included a resignation letter from Joe Kent, director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, who stepped down on Tuesday. In the letter, Kent stated that he could not “in good conscience” support the ongoing war, arguing that Iran posed no imminent threat.
Araghchi pointed to the resignation as part of a broader trend, claiming that more European and American officials are beginning to question the justification for the conflict.
He urged other members of the international community to take similar positions, warning that the consequences of the war would ultimately be felt across the globe.
