Davido expressed interest in a collaboration with Rihanna, stating that he is excited to work with her after she named his song ‘Unavailable’ her favorite.

He also mentioned that he is not actively seeking collaborations beyond this, except with Chris Brown, citing their past successful track ‘Blow My Mind’ as a standout in US-Afrobeats collaborations.

Nigerian superstar Davido, in a recent interview on Sway’s Universe, expressed his focused interest in future collaborations, specifically highlighting his anticipation to work with Rihanna after her endorsement of his song ‘Unavailable’ as her favorite.

Davido stated that apart from Chris Brown, with whom he achieved significant success in their hit ‘Blow My Mind’—a song he regards as one of the top Afrobeats collaborations with American artists—he is not actively seeking other American partnerships.

“Aside Chris Brown, I’m not going to disturb myself for any other American collaboration. Rihanna said ‘Unavailable’ is her best song, so I’m waiting to work with her,” he said.

His comments underline a strategic approach to international collaborations, emphasizing quality and mutual respect over quantity.
