Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, some popular pastors and bishops of top churches have publicly declared support for their preferred presidential candidate.

VerseNews Nigeria understands that the major contenders of the presidential election are Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the ruling All progressive Congress (APC) and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democtratic Party (PDP).

However, there have been lots of reports that the LP candidate, Peter Obi has won the the heart of many Nigerians, popular politicians and pastors. Some of these pastors are as listed below.

The lead pastor and founder of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere has been one of the popular pastor, supporting Peter Obi.

Prophet Odumeje has advised his congregation never to allow the mistake they made in 2015 repeat itself in the coming election. In his words, 2023 election is an opportunity that must not be misused.

He also said that God, through revelation revealed to him that Peter Obi is the right person to rescue Nigeria from its present situations and challenges.

He said; “I don’t detest any of the contenders for president, but God revealed to me that only Mr Peter Obi will lead us to the promised land.”

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry has publicly declared his support for Peter Obi in Sunday 19 February, 2023.

In a video he share, he noted that the LP flag bearer is the right candidate to make things right in Nigeria. He encourages Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to vote for Peter Obi in the coming election.
