Victor Osimhen, the reigning African player of the year, showcased remarkable stamina and strength in Nigeria’s recent 1-0 victory over Guinea-Bissau on January 22.
In response to the outstanding energy levels displayed by Osimhen and other key players, random doping tests were conducted as part of the standard procedure.
Contrary to initial reports, these tests occurred after the Super Eagles’ game against Guinea-Bissau, not following the 2-0 win over Cameroon on January 27.
