‘After Tinubu, I’m the Most Abused Politician’ — Wike
Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has claimed he is the second-most abused politician in Nigeria after President Tinubu.
- Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has claimed he is the second-most abused politician in Nigeria after President Tinubu, attributing the attacks to his insistence on honoring political agreements that include his supporters.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Saturday declared himself the most abused politician in Nigeria after President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking in Ochigba, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, during a year-end Thanksgiving meeting with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders, Wike said the criticism he faces stems from his commitment to ensuring political agreements benefit his followers.

“After Tinubu, the next most abused politician today is me. Why are they abusing me? Because they know that agreement is agreement,” Wike said.
He stressed that agreements should be respected and implemented fully, warning against empty promises. “When we have agreed on something let’s implement it; if we can’t implement it, don’t even come for it,” he added.
Wike, a PDP member, reiterated his party’s continued support for Tinubu in the 2027 elections, despite accusations of anti-party activities—claims he has repeatedly denied.
