Court of Appeal has on Wednesday granted the Independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) the permission to reconfigure the Bimodal Accreditation and verification Systems (BVAS) ahead of the governorship election scheduled to hold on March 1, 2023.

This Online News Media reported that the Labour (LP) party presidential candidate, Peter Obi through his lead counsel, Chief Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN) asked the court to prevent INEC from deconstructing the system in order not to tamper with sensitive data of the presidential election.

Obi allege that the presidential election held on Saturday February 25 was massively rigged against his party.

Justice Joseph Ikyegh in his judgement granted INEC the permission to reconfigure the BVAS but ordered that sensitive presidential election materials and data should be uploaded to back-end server and ake True Certified copy to Obi of Labour Party (LP).
