Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United, unveiling him with the iconic jersey No.14 shirt.

Barcelona have officially unveiled Marcus Rashford as their latest signing, confirming the England international has joined the club on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

The 26-year-old forward has been handed the iconic No.14 jersey, a shirt worn in the past by club legends like Thierry Henry and Javier Mascherano.

The move marks a historic moment for both club and player, as Rashford becomes the first English footballer to play for Barcelona since Gary Lineker’s departure in 1989 — ending a 36-year gap.

Barcelona confirmed that the loan agreement includes an option to buy at the end of the season, depending on Rashford’s performance and adaptation to life at Camp Nou.

The forward is set to link up with the squad immediately for their pre-season tour of Asia, where he could make his debut in an upcoming friendly against Vissel Kobe in Japan.

For Rashford, the move presents a fresh start after a rocky spell at Manchester United and a positive loan stint at Aston Villa last season. With the No.14 on his back, he’ll be hoping to carve out his own legacy in Catalonia — and revive a career that once lit up Old Trafford.
