In the November 2023 Professional Qualifying Examination organized by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), 3,963 Nigerian teachers failed out of a total of 15,753 candidates who sat for the exam.

The Registrar of TRCN, Prof. Josiah Ajiboye, provided the breakdown, revealing that 10,636 candidates passed, representing about 72.9%, while 3,963 candidates failed.
“A total of 15,753 sat the examination in 38 Centres across the country, out of this, we have 10,636 that passed which is about 72.9 per cent and those that failed are 3,963,” Ajiboye said.
Ajiboye also mentioned that some candidates were absent, while others had their results canceled due to examination malpractices.
The November diet of the examination took place from November 23 to November 25, 2023.
