  • Pay-TV giant MultiChoice Nigeria has reduced the prices of its DStv and GOtv decoders, bringing more affordable entertainment options to Nigerian homes ahead of the festive season.

In a major price review, popular pay-TV provider MultiChoice has announced a further reduction in the prices of its decoder packages.

The company revealed that the DStv decoder will now sell for ₦7,900, down from ₦10,000, while the GOtv decoder has been reduced to ₦6,500.

The new pricing, which took effect on November 1, 2025, marks the second major adjustment in recent months and reflects MultiChoice’s commitment to making premium entertainment more accessible to Nigerians.

This follows an earlier price slash in June under the “We’ve Got You” campaign, where the company reduced the cost of a DStv decoder by 50 percent — from ₦20,000 to ₦10,000 — and dropped the GOtv decoder price from ₦18,600 to ₦9,900.
