BREAKING: OPM Founder, Apostle Chibuzor Hospitalized, Begs For Prayers

The founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere is reportedly sick and has been hospitalized.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that the popular man of God made this known while sharing a photo of himself on a hospital bed via his official Facebook page on Thursday 29 June, 2023.

The post, captioned, “Please put me in your prayers,” grabbed the attention of many followers, who stormed the comment section to pray for the preacher.

The apostle, renowned for his philanthropy, has been in the news recently over his reported move to abandon some of his beneficiaries, including those on scholarships abroad.

Two former security guards known as Happy Boys, who were on an OPM scholarship to Cyprus, had dragged the clergyman on social media for allegedly abandoning them.

Recall that, after the duo was sacked as security guards, Apostle Chibuzor sent them abroad (Cyprus) to study.

This Online News Media reported that the boys in a post uploaded on their official instagram page claimed that they had only been in school for 6 months before being forced to drop out owing to a lack of financing.

They claimed that finding work in Cyprus is extremely difficult, and that living in the nation is very expensive.

Happie Boys further shared their chats with Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere where they requested money from him several times and he said he was broke and on other occasions ignored the messages.

Apostle Chibuzor, however, denied the allegations, saying Happy Boys were only asked to relocate to either Nigeria or the Republic of Benin to continue their education.
