The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially declared Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, winner of the state’s governorship election held on Saturday.
The declaration was made on Sunday morning at the INEC State Collation Centre in Awka, following the announcement of results from the remaining two local government areas — Ihiala and Anambra West — which had been delayed after a brief suspension of collation.

According to the results released, Soludo’s All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won in all 21 local government areas of the state, securing a total of 422,664 votes.
