Nigerian former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremdu, his wife, Beatrice awaits final judgement after being found guilty of conspiracy and organ trafficiking in the United Kigdom.
VerseNews Nigeria reported that Ekweremdu and his wife were arrested for conspiracy to harvest the organs of a boy who they claimed was 21-year-old but was found to be 15-year-old by the prosecutor.
In a court ruling, the couple alongside their daughter, Sonia, and a medical doctor, Dr. Obinna Obeta, were found guilty of facilitating the travel of a young man to Britain with a view to his exploitation after a six-week trial at the Old Bailey.
