BREAKING: Wike Takes Over FCT, Alake Solid Minerals, Keyamo Aviation
After 79 days in office, Bola Ahmed Tinubu finally assigns portfolios to ministers-designate.
Former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has been appointed Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while Festus Keyamo appointed as Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
VerseNews reports that this comes barely 10 days after the Nigerian Senate concluded screening and confirmation of the ministerial nominees sent by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Others in the list released on Wednesday include Dele Alake manning the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Wale Edun (Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy), Adegboyega Oyetola (Transportation), David Umahi (Works) and Betta Edu (Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation).
The list was released in a statement made available to Channels Television.
