Nigerian Superstar musician, Damini Ogulu popularly know by his stage name as Burna Boy has become the first African Artiste to win the Best International Act Award four times after winning the 2023 category at the Black Entertainment Awards (BET).
VerseNews Nigeria reports that Burna Boy has previously won the award in 2019, 2020 and 2021 respectively.
The event held on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, U.S.A.
The African Giant defeated French singer, Aya Nakamura, British superstars, Ella Mai, Stormzy, and Central Cee, and his compatriot, Ayra Starr to clinch the award.

This Online News Media gathered that the singer, who has had amazing last couple years, was not present at the show but his mother Bose Ogulu, who also doubles as his manager received the award on his behalf.
His 2022 album Love, Damini was a worldwide success. He also took home a BET Award in the same category in 2019 and 2021.
