The Ogun Government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, is planning to introduce a law that imposes the death penalty on individuals involved in cult activities within the state and its surrounding areas.

VerseNews reports that Governor Abiodun announced this intention during a meeting with the Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, held at the Akarigbo Palace in Sagamu, Ogun.

He expressed deep concern about the widespread loss of lives and disruption of peace in Sagamu and its vicinity.
