Davido, the Nigerian music sensation, is set to headline the UnitedMasters Grammy Weekend Concert preceding the 66th Academy Grammy Awards.

VerseNews gathered that the event, organized by the music platform UnitedMasters, will take place on Sunday, February 4th, at Crypto Com Arena in Los Angeles

Last year’s concert drew an audience of over 2,500, featuring notable figures like Jay Z, Beyonce, Nas, DJ Khaled, Wiz Khalifa, and more.

VerseNews understands that Davido’s prominence has risen with the release of his comeback album, “Timeless,” accumulating over a billion streams and earning him three Grammy nominations.

The nominations include Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album. In an interview, Davido expressed his daily prayer for a Grammy win.

Competing at the 2024 Grammys, Davido is nominated for Best Global Music Performance against Burna Boy, Arooj Aftab, Silvana Estrada, Béla Fleck, Falu, and Gaurav Shah.

He is also in contention for the Best Global Music Album title against Bokante, Susana Baca, Burna Boy, and Shakti. Additionally, Davido competes in the Best African Music Performance category alongside Tyla from South Africa, Asake, Ayra Starr, and Burna Boy.
