‘Timeless’ album by the Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Davido Adeleke known by his stage name as Davido becomes the first African Album to hit No 1 on US iTune in history.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that the ’17 tacks’ album sets its record to rank No 1 in the world’s biggest music market after it topped the chat on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.

Davido’s Timeless album becomes the first African album to top the US iTunes Albums Chart.

This Online News Media reported that the Singer will release his fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ on March 31, 2023 after a long time break in social medias and his music career.

The comeback album features Nigerian artists such as Asake, Fave, The Cavemen, Morravey and Logos Olori. Angelique Kidjo.

British rapper in the song is Skepta, South African music producer/DJ Musa Keys, Jamaican dancehall/reggae singer Dexta Daps, and South African rapper, Focalistic.

This Online News Media reports that the album following release has made waves across different music platforms with global streaming giant, Spotify announcing it the most streamed in the United Kingdom, Canada, France and Nigeria.

It also made history as the most first-day after it reaches over 6 million streams in few hours for an African album on Apple Music.
