Ousmane Dembele has won the 2025 Ballon d’Or after a record-breaking season with PSG, where he scored 35 goals and led the club to its first-ever UEFA Champions League triumph.
France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele has been named the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner in the men’s category, capping off the most successful campaign of his career.
Dembele finished ahead of Barcelona duo Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah, and PSG teammate Vitinha.

The French winger was instrumental in PSG’s first-ever UEFA Champions League triumph, while also helping secure the Ligue 1 title, French Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and Trophée des Champions. Across all competitions, he contributed an impressive 35 goals and 15 assists.
Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal retained the Kopa Trophy for the best young male player after a remarkable breakout season, while PSG’s Vitinha earned recognition for his influential role in midfield for both club and country.

In the women’s category, Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati clinched the Ballon d’Or for the third straight year, beating Arsenal and Spain’s Mariona Caldentey and Arsenal’s Alessia Russo. Bonmati delivered decisive performances for both club and country despite battling health setbacks before Euro 2025.

The Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper went to PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma in the men’s category and Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton in the women’s. PSG was also named Best Men’s Club of the Season, while Arsenal claimed the women’s club award.
