Days to election, Desmond Oluwashola Elliot, the Lagos State House of Assembly candidate under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that he has given and installed new high-capacity transformers in his constituency, Surulere, Lagos State.

This Online News Media reports that the Nigeria politician and actor is conteting for a third term in the House of Assembly.

He made the announcement via his social media account as part of his campaign manifesto.

“I am excited to announce that new high-capacity transformers have been installed in Surulere, bringing reliable electricity to communities that have long needed it,” he wrote.

The eight communities to benefit from the transformer are:

  • Somade Crescent; Methodist Church by Small London; 300Kva
  • Main Street between Barracks and Tejuosho; 500Kva
  • Clegg Street, Insidee Fire Brigade; 500Kva
  • James Robertson Junction; 500Kva
  • Akerele by Havana Hospital; 500Kva
  • Martins Street; 500Kva
  • Oke-Ona/Ladele Dada/Alawode Transformer; 500Kva (Surulere 2)
  • Tafawa Balewa Crescent; 500Kva
