- Nollywood actress Doris Ogala was reportedly arrested during a live broadcast after security operatives arrived at her residence, amid her ongoing dispute and allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor.

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala was reportedly arrested on Saturday evening, December 20, 2025, during a live online broadcast that was abruptly cut short after security operatives arrived at her residence.
The incident occurred while Ogala was engaged in a livestream conversation with an online personality. Moments into the broadcast, voices were heard questioning her about the presence of officers in her home, to which the actress responded that the police were indeed there. She was also heard reprimanding a woman identified as “Charity” for allowing the officers into the house despite earlier warnings.
The livestream ended shortly afterward, leaving viewers speculating about the situation.
The development comes amid Ogala’s ongoing public dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry. In recent days, the actress had called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate the cleric’s church altar, alleging that a death occurred during its construction—claims that have generated widespread reactions online.

Confirming the reported arrest, comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Dee One took to Instagram, stating that Ogala had been taken into custody and would now have to defend her claims through legal channels.
Ogala has also alleged that she was in a long-term romantic relationship with Pastor Okafor beginning in 2017, claiming she ended her previous marriage at his request. The dispute reportedly escalated following the pastor’s recent wedding to his wife, Pearl.
In response, the actress is said to have filed a legal demand seeking ₦1 billion in damages, citing an alleged breach of promise to marry.
As of the time of reporting, there has been no official statement from the police or the Department of State Services regarding the arrest.
