Famous Nigerian singer, Olubankole Wellington, popularly called Banky W has expressed his deep disappointment after losing at the Saturday February 25 election.
VerseNews Nigeria reports that Bank W had contested for Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representative but was defeated by Mr Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP).
Banky W who is also a pastor at ‘The Waterbook Church‘ during a Sunday service said that weeks before the election, he had made every necessary preparations in anticipation of his victory, including plans for a Sunday thanksgiving, searching for an apartment, office in Abuja and many more.
He admitted that his defeat was an unexpected and unpredicted one but his faith in God has stopped him from hurting and helped him heal.

Sharing the video message on social media, he wrote; “For anyone who’s ever suffered through a loss, a disappointment or a situation where things just didn’t work out the way you hoped… “Faith after a Fall” is for you. This Online Newspaper learnt that in the 2019 general elections, he contested for the same seat under the Modern Democratic Party, a political party founded in 2017 by some youth associations but lost out after the poll.
