A viral TikTok video has stirred outrage and fear across social media after a young Lagos woman challenged suspected terrorists to come to Ikeja if they believed they were truly powerful.
The lady had commented under a video posted by a group of armed men, widely suspected to be terrorists, daring them to attack key areas of Lagos. Her comment read:
“If dem born una well, just come Maryland, Ikeja or Agege for Lagos.”
Shockingly, the TikTok account that originally uploaded the video responded shortly after with a simple but unsettling reply:
“Ok.”
The exchange immediately went viral, fueling anxiety among Nigerians and raising questions about the ease with which such groups operate on social media platforms.
The incident comes at a time when Nigeria is experiencing a fresh wave of violent attacks, including kidnappings, killings, and village raids in parts of Kebbi, Kwara, and Niger States.

Many Nigerians flooded the comment section pleading on behalf of the TikTok user, begging the armed group to ignore her comment. Others blasted the nation’s security agencies for failing to track and clamp down on the account.
One commenter, Dr. Shred, expressed frustration, saying:
“This is disgraceful. These criminals have their TikTok pages up and nobody takes it down. But let a pastor talk or a citizen speak up, and the government will rush to shut that person down. Who is really funding these terrorists?”
