Renowned Nollywood actress and box office sensation, Funke Akindele, recently shut down an unsolicited piece of advice from a social media user regarding her marital status.

VerseNews noted that amidst the fervent promotion of her latest blockbuster, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’, Akindele took to Twitter to share updates.

However, one user decided to chime in, suggesting that the actress should consider getting remarried in 2024 due to her age.

The tweet, which read, “This year try and remarry getting old,” prompted a witty response from the seasoned actress. Akindele gracefully acknowledged the advice, humorously dubbing the user as the “wedding planner.”

“OK wedding planner,” she quipped in response to the suggestion.

In Akindele’s recent update on her X account (formerly Twitter), “A Tribe Called Judag” becomes highest grossimg movie in 2023 as it hits hits the 613 million naira mark in two weeks.
