Paul Okoye has voiced his profound astonishment and dismay regarding a concerning trend among certain internet users.

VerseNews understands that this trend revolves around juxtaposing the lavish celebrity funerals, with a specific focus on the recent memorials for the mothers of both Wizkid and Obi Cubana.

A few days back, the celebration of Wizkid’s mother captured widespread attention, drawing in a constellation of prominent celebrities and sparking discussions and admiration across the online community.

However, a troubling trend emerged as some individuals began drawing parallels between this event and the opulent burial of Obi Cubana’s mother, which occurred a few years prior.

Paul Okoye, deeply troubled by this comparison, grappled with the insensitivity and impropriety of equating such profoundly personal and solemn occasions as funerals.

Taking to his Instagram story, he couldn’t contain his astonishment and remarked that the younger generation seemed to have their priorities askew, leaving him utterly perplexed by the underlying rationale.

“The present generation i pity Una future 😷
Can you imagine people comparing burial ceremony?
Una go hear am 🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️🚶🏿‍♂️”,
