The former senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of ringing and manipulating the 2023 presidential election results held on Saturday February 25.

VerseNews Nigeria reports that that Dina while addressing journalists at the collation centre in Abuja said INEC has been influenced by the All Progressive Party (APC) to rig the collected election results in favour the the party’s flag bearer, Bola Tinubu.

In a walk-out protest stage by Dino and the other parties, they demand that the INEC chairman, Prof. Mahood Yakubu should display the uploaded results to be verified with what the State Returning Officers are presenting to Nigerians.

Yakubu in his response said, “the process should continue that everything will be done later.”

Addressing journalist, Dino said; “We party agents have observed that INEC chairman is determined to rig the election by making sure that results are not uploaded. Premently making a presentation that makes it look as if we are all here to robust the fraud that has been cooked between INEC and APC.”

“We are saying that we are not here to robust the electoral fraud that have been prepared by INEC and APC. We are Nigerians and we all know that there is nowhere on the server that results have been uploaded. He is now sayong we should wait for the process to be completed.”

“We the political parties here are saying stage the workout to express the unfortunate demonstration of the electoral process.”

“We are about 9 or 10 parties here and we are saying that INEC has compromised and being influenced by APC. We can see how results are being changes , we have records of where elections did not take place and results have been pronounced.”

“What is difficult for the INEC chairman showing in the uploaded results so that we can compare and interrogate with the presentation that is made Returning Officers.”

“But they cannot show us the uploaded results because they know that what they are going to upload will be variant with what they have been presenting to Nigerians. INEC have rig the 2023 election and we are disassociating ourselves from it and we know what to do next,” he added.
