- Confusion surrounds reports involving VeryDarkMan and King Mitchy death rumor after attempts to commit suicide by drinking hypo.

Confusion and mixed reactions have trailed reports involving Nigerian social media personalities VeryDarkMan and King Mitchy.
Claims that VeryDarkMan had died surfaced after he shared a post on Instagram showing what appeared to be his graveside, suggesting his own demise. However, the post has largely been interpreted as a prank, with no credible confirmation of his death.
The development followed earlier reports that King Mitchy had passed away. Her management had initially announced on February 28, 2026, that she died after a critical health emergency allegedly linked to consuming Hypo during a TikTok live session amid an ongoing online feud.
According to the initial statement, she was rushed to a hospital in Abuja where her condition was described as critical before she was reportedly confirmed dead despite medical efforts.
However, in a dramatic twist, her management later retracted the death announcement, confirming that she is alive and currently in stable condition. The update came after widespread panic and conflicting reports about her status.
The controversy between both personalities reportedly began after King Mitchy urged VeryDarkMan to utilise funds donated to his NGO for developmental purposes. The disagreement quickly escalated into a heated online exchange, with both parties trading accusations.

In reaction to the initial death reports, VeryDarkMan took to social media but appeared to dismiss the claims. Instead, he shared content widely seen as a mock or prank, including visuals suggesting his own “burial,” which further fueled outrage and confusion among followers.
Meanwhile, Prime Care Hospital denied claims that Mitchy was admitted or died at its facility, describing the earlier report as false and misleading.
In a related development, Seyi Tinubu also dismissed allegations linking him to the feud, maintaining that his interaction with Mitchy was limited to public support for her NGO.
At the moment, there is no confirmed report of death for either personality.
