VerseNews reports that the decision was made during a board meeting on January 31, where Otedola succeeded Alhaji Ahmad Abdullahi, who was appointed board chair on December 17, 2021.
Otedola assumes the position of Chairman of the Board just five months after becoming a Non-Executive Director on August 14, 2023.
