King Mitchy Management Retracts Death Claim After Suicide Attempt Using Hypo
King Mitchy’s management has given fresh update on her death report after attempting to commit suicide by drinking hypo…
- King Mitchy’s management has reversed its earlier claim of her death after a Hypo-related scare, confirming she is alive and stable, while controversy with VeryDarkMan and Seyi Tinubu continues to unfold.

The management of social media influencer Mukoro Michelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, has withdrawn its earlier announcement of her alleged death, confirming that she is alive and in stable condition.
The clarification followed widespread panic after reports emerged that Mitchy had died after allegedly consuming a substance believed to be Hypo during a live video session.
Prior to the incident, Mitchy had been in the spotlight after revealing she renovated a dilapidated school within six days, presenting the project as proof that meaningful change could be achieved quickly with genuine intent.
However, her remarks were widely interpreted as subtle criticism of Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, who responded by accusing her of being used as a political pawn to promote the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The situation escalated further when VeryDarkMan alleged that Seyi Tinubu was behind Mitchy’s philanthropic activities, a claim that sparked intense reactions across social media.
Mitchy later disclosed that the sustained online backlash led to the loss of her business Instagram account.
The controversy took a dramatic turn during a live session on Friday when Mitchy, visibly distressed, appeared to ingest a substance suspected to be Hypo, prompting concern from viewers who attempted to dissuade her.
Her management subsequently announced her death via Instagram, claiming she had passed away at Prime Care Hospital in Abuja despite medical efforts to revive her.

However, in a reversal, her management later stated that she was alive and recovering. “Michelle is okay now,” the update read.
Meanwhile, Prime Care Hospital denied any involvement, stating that Mitchy was neither admitted nor died at its facility and described the earlier claim as false. The hospital also indicated it was working with authorities to investigate the source of the misinformation.
In a related development, Seyi Tinubu dismissed allegations linking him to the feud, stating that his interaction with Mitchy was limited to public support for her NGO activities. He also accused VeryDarkMan of dragging his name into a controversy he had no involvement in.
