The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has advised the 1,800 couples in a mass wedding scheme against checking their spouses’ phones to prevent marriage issues.
VerseNews reports he offered this advice during a reception for the couples organized by the State Government at the Open Theatre in the Kano Government House.
Kwankwaso emphasized that checking spouses’ phones is a significant cause of marriage breakdowns and urged couples to avoid actions that could lead to such crises.
He mentioned that various individuals and groups, including religious leaders, parents, and business people, have already given advice on living harmoniously with each other.
His single advice to the couples was not to snoop on their spouses’ phones, as this has become a major reason for marriage problems in recent times.believe you have been advised a thousand times. “But I have one single advice for you; that is checking spouses’ phones. Don’t peep at your spouses’ phones as that is the major cause of marriage breakup these days,” he said
