Temidayo Ojo has been appointed as the new CEO of Jumia Nigeria, succeeding Sunil Natraj.
Jumia has appointed Temidayo Ojo as the new Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, marking a strategic move to accelerate innovation and ensure sustainable growth in the country’s e-commerce landscape.
Ojo takes over from Sunil Natraj, who led the company for 19 months. In his new role, Ojo is expected to focus on expanding Jumia’s digital solutions, enhancing customer experiences, and driving growth across Nigeria’s e-commerce sector.

Temidayo joined Jumia in 2020 as Head of Planning and Performance, later becoming Chief Commercial Officer, and most recently served as CEO of Jumia Ghana. He brings to the role over a decade of experience in project management, commercial sales, and business strategy.

His professional background includes consulting roles at PwC and Globalpraxis Group, with core expertise in finance and strategy. Ojo holds an MBA in Finance, Strategy & Consulting from IESE Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Lagos.
