Nigerian artiste Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, found himself embroiled in a heated online exchange with the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, concerning the recent passing of fellow singer MohBad.

VerseNews reports that the clash unfolded on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday when Skales took to his social media platform to express his concerns about the increasing insecurity in the country, particularly in light of the tragic death of MohBad.

Skales, in a tweet, lamented, “Police no Dey this country,” highlighting his frustration with the security situation in Nigeria.

Edafe, responding to Skales’ tweet, countered, “Twitter is not a police station! Twitter is not a police station!! Twitter is not a police station!!! May his soul rest in peace, Amen.”

This response didn’t sit well with Skales, who fired back with a scathing reply, directing harsh words at Edafe and the police force.

“My friend, will you shut up? …,” Skales tweeted.

Edafe, undeterred, retorted, “Is like Skales wants to use me to revive his music career. Well, I am too busy for that. As I said, if he feels there is a matter to be investigated, he can, on behalf of the family, make an official complaint at the police station.”
