- A Nigerian governor has stirred major controversy after stating during an Arise TV interview that “We know the Terrorists, we know where they live, we know their parents,” amid a wave of mass abductions across multiple states.
A popular Nigerian governor has broken the social media space following an interview he recently granted amid the high rate of insecurity in the country.
The governor, identified as Dauda Lawal, during an interview on Arise TV, revealed those behind the recent bandit attacks terrorizing different regions.
Within the past week alone, Nigeria has recorded a series of alarming abductions. On November 18, 2025, herdsmen suspected to be Fulani bandits kidnapped 38 worshippers from a church in Eruku, Kwara State.
Just days later, on Friday, November 21, gunmen invaded St. Mary’s Catholic School in Agwara, Papiri community, Niger State, abducting 303 children and 12 teachers.

Earlier that same week, on Monday, November 17, armed bandits attacked Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) in Maga, Danko/Wasagu LGA, killing the Vice Principal and kidnapping 25 female students.
