Some Nigerians believe Uzoho is making mistakes on purpose after another disaster in Super Eagles 3-2 win against Mozambique.

The Nigerian men’s senior national team known as the Super Eagles are dominating the social media trends once again.

The Super Eagles went in front in additional time of extra-time when Moses Simon converted a penalty.

In the second half, despite being down to 10 men Catamo assisted Faisal Banhel for Mozambique’s second in the 55th minute.

Despite the Super Eagles victory, the Nigerians descended on goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

VerseNews learnt that it is the second time, Uzoho is under scrutiny in the space of four days.

Nigerian football fans lambasted Uzoho comparing him to Manchester United’s Andre Onana for making a mistake in the 2-2 draw against the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia.

After another mistake in the win against Mozambique, Nigerian football fans were nuclear with criticism for Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.

Some Nigerian football fans believe that Uzoho has to be bribing members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to get a spot in the national team.

Uzoho was part of the Super Eagles team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and Nigerian football fans are asking he is not called up for the next AFCON in Ivory Coast.

It remains to be seen if Uzoho will be part of the Super Eagles as they begin a bid to qualify for the World Cup once more after failing to get there last year with a home game against Lesotho on November 13, one week before playing Zimbabwe.
