Nigerians who are supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi known as the ‘Obidients’ have stage a peaceful protest at the White House and Capitol Hill in Washington D.C, United States of America over the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
VerseNews Nigeria reports that the LP supporters on Tuesday April 4 described the February 25 presidential election which as fraudulent and unaccepted.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) decaled Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of All Progressive Congress (APC) as the president-elect after he was said to have meet the constitutional requirents of the Nigeria constitution.
Speaking on the credibility of the election, the Obidients alleged that there were election violence, ballot snatching witnessed during at some polling units during the election especially in Lagos State.

The noted that the election violence and intimidation was a ploy by the opposition party to disfranchise the Obidient supporters with the state.
Among the protesters was Aisha Yesufu, a prominent member of the ‘Obidients.’ Protesters displayed placards with slogans such as ‘Nigeria’s Democracy Under Siege,’ ‘Daylight Robbery,’ and ‘Nigerians Reject The Election Results.’
