JAMB advises 2024 UTME candidates to bring only a photocopy or colored copy of their examination slip to their exam center.

Candidates should avoid bringing their original registration slip. The 2024 UTME will take place from April 19 to April 29.

As students gear up for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued specific instructions regarding what candidates should bring to their examination centers.

VerseNews reports that in a statement released on Saturday, April 13, JAMB advised candidates to bring either a photocopy or colored copy of their reprinted examination slip to their exam center.

JAMB stressed that candidates should not bring their original registration slip to the exam, but rather a single copy of the examination notification slip, whether in photocopied or colored format.

This recommendation aims to streamline the examination process and minimize potential issues at the centers.

The 2024 UTME is scheduled to run from Friday, April 19, to Monday, April 29, as reported by VerseNews.

With this guidance, JAMB ensures candidates are well-prepared for the exam while adhering to proper protocols for a smooth and efficient examination experience.

JAMB wrote on its official X account (formerly Twitter): “You can go with anyone (examination notification slip). However, you should ensure you don’t go there with more than a copy of the examination notification slip — not registration slip.”
