Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has paid tribute to his late son, “Ifeanyi David Adedeji Adeleke,” describing him as a “RIP LEGEND!!” in a heartfelt post shared Tuesday on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
Ifeanyi, Davido’s son with now-wife Chioma Rowland, tragically died on October 31, 2022, after drowning in a swimming pool at the singer’s Banana Island residence in Lagos—just days after celebrating his third birthday on October 20.

Following the incident, the Lagos State Police Command confirmed that an autopsy determined the cause of death to be drowning. Eight domestic staff were initially taken in for questioning, with six released and two detained for further investigation.
