Six students of the Nigerian Law School, Yola campus, have been abducted by suspected bandits while traveling along the dangerous Wukari–Benue highway on Saturday night, July 26, 2025.

Six students of the Nigerian Law School have reportedly been kidnapped by suspected bandits while traveling to the institution’s Yola campus in Adamawa State.
The abduction took place on the night of Saturday, July 26, 2025, along the dangerous Wukari–Benue highway—an area notorious for frequent kidnappings and violent attacks. The students were said to be returning to school after completing their mandatory court attachment, with lectures set to resume on Monday, July 28.

A fellow student, identified as Johnson, confirmed that the kidnappers have already reached out to the victims’ families, demanding a ransom of ₦20 million for their release.

Among the missing students are:
- Rev. Ernest Okafor
- Ogbuka Fabian
- Nwamma Philip
- Okechukwu Obadiegwu
- Obalem Emmanuel
- Obiorah David
They were reportedly traveling in a commercial vehicle operated by AJ Dan Pullo Transport Company, based in Onitsha, Anambra State.
As of the time of this report, there has been no official statement from either the Nigerian Law School management or security agencies regarding the incident. The families of the victims are said to be in distress, calling on authorities to intervene swiftly.
