Suspend Wike At Your Own Peril – Fayose Tells PDP
Wike in an interview said he has not seen the party chieftain who will suspend or expel him from the party.
Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, has advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against sacking Nyesom Wike.
Fayose in an interview on Channel Television on Friday monitored by VerseNews said should the PDP sack Wike the party is doing so at their peril.
He said Wike is one of the few key members of the party that has been sustaining the PDP since his faceoff with the leadership of the party aftermath the election.
Recall that Wike is one of the newly appointed ministers of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This comes following reports in the media where Wike dared the PDP to go ahead with the sack.
Meanwhile, Ayodele while responding to the current state of the PDP said the party needs overhauling.
He, therefore advised the PDP not to wait for the outcome of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) before putting its house in order.
This Online News Website earlier reported that Wike in an interview said he has not seen the party chieftain who will suspend or expel him from the party.
“Who will discipline me? I should be the one calling for the discipline of these people who violated the party’s constitution, in the way that the party supported rotation.
“Who will suspend me? I want to dare anybody,” Wike said.
The ex-governor said he informed PDP leadership before he took the ministerial offer of President Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
